On Ft. Lewis (Now JBLM), there are swans that live in a big pond by Madigan hospital. My ex wife got the shit kicked out of herself by the swans during mating season when she got too close. It was glorious.

Congrats on your swans. Glad they are friendlier than the army swans. ha ha

Great pics Duane, but do be careful with your young ones....an adult swan can easily break a human's leg with one swipe of its wing!

Brrrrr geese, my inlaws always have them around, even their front yard isn't safe anymore. And my 4 year old is terrified, as they always walk hissing and puffing towards him, he suddenly can run for his life, normally he's the turtle in this story.
