Smoking a new home blend in my old, beat up BBB pipe. This blend uses some of the super vinegar-y red Virginia that I was going to throw away last year. But I saved it, aired it out then re-hydrated it about 6 times... until finally it was able to be smoked. It's still a bit too vinegar-y to smoke alone IMO, but about 20% in a blend adds a nice kick. It's that, plus some stoved and some bright Virginias, some latakia, and some Macedonian prilep. I love it.

Half way through a bowl of Alpine Lodge in this…. As I’ve said before hazelnut is not my favorite taste, and it makes my coffee taste cheap. I may have to see of I can find a pouch of SWR to use as my aro while here at the beach.
