Another 3 nights of misery.

Tonight I got a liter of fluid with a shot of something to stop the nausea and a prescription for antibiotics.

Aside from losing almost a month earlier this year to that which we shall not discuss, one of the times I’ve had food poisoning was the now second sickest I’ve ever been. Nothing to mess with - hope you are getting better.

Hate to like this one too but those of us who've been there...we know. 5 days of hell in India paying crazy prices for the pedialyte equivalent was nuts. At least we had the bidet style hoses there as TP is not generally a thing in Indian households.

food poisoning sucks. I remember being shocked at finding out I could sweat like that. It was like a shower with bad water pressure. I remember waking up with this feeling that a gnome had crawled up my bum and started tying knots in my intestines. I had my life flash before my eyes too. All in all wouldn't recommend the experience to anyone.

I hope you feel better soon! I've been there with the bucket. In the moment, you can't believe you aren't throwing up intestines and other body parts because the volume out is so superior to the volume in.
