Can this be repaired??

OK! So I tried to convert a non filter pipe to accept 6mm filter! Long story short. Can this be repaired??????

It actually worked. Filter fits perfectly. But just as I finished the stem slipped out of clamp and broke at tip

Man, it's just chaos theory. Fix one thing, and another thing breaks, what can happen will... I'm sorry to hear that. Maybe someone can recommend a good pipesmith to make you a new one.

Almost anything can be repaired, the question is the cost/benefit analysis. Unless it has a lot of sentimental value, time for a new stem.

Glue, or if you are lazy, sand it flush and smooth. Tape it for some leverage. And boom, nice orific bit

You can either DIY with super glue or get a new stem made.
I can recommend The Danish Pipe Shop. They did a great job on an old Stanwell of mine.
