Yes. It's a good way to keep your verbal engine running. I find myself developing my posts as notes and emails to others, and I discover stories about my life I've never thought to tell. And I feel like I'm in touch with a wide cross section of people, some very different from myself, with whom I have a lot in common. Fancy that.

I find the best way to post something really satisfyingly offensive and spiteful is to type it all out, and then hold down the delete button until it disappears again.

I save them all up throughout the day and then yell them at other drivers from behind the safety of my windshield during my commute home. Thankfully I commute an hour each way so there is plenty of time to dispense of my daily ruminations on the stupidity and general solipsism of the human race before I arrive at work/home.
