It is a nice color. Here in KC we aren't expecting much color as it has been a very rainy year.
Lovely! I wish we had more deciduous trees here in the SoCal mountains. Mostly pines and other evergreens here. Best time of year, for sure! Enjoy that nice foliage...goes well with a pipe and a cup of coffee.

West Virginia is beautiful in Autumn. It is my favorite time of year. I love the colors, the smells, the sounds and the cool nights. Some parts of West Virginia have seen their first snow flakes already. It is not uncommon to get several inches of snow before Halloween. Just a grand time of year.
fall is the best. Spring is pretty great too, but it's got the downside of knowing that you're heading for summer.

I just wished fall lasted as long as summer. In Texas, summer takes up half the year. But, I’m with you, I love this season, grew fond of it from growing up where fall was stunning.
Fall is when I come alive. I love the crisp days, the rainy days, the colors. I love cooking giant Sunday meals on a chilly fall day. Steelhead fishing. Not sweating like a hog at work. The pitch black clouds that zoom around off Lake Erie on those volatile weather days. Ohio is wonderful in the fall.
Fall and winter can burn in hell. Arthritis joint aches from temps below the eighties is living death. Give me 90°F+ weather year round.
I hear You, Sir, decidedly Fall& Winters may they burn in hell, the older I get the more I hate these seasons , right now where I live on the shore,its about 50f/+10c , constant rainfalls and high winds almost each and another day this really sucks
Well, autum and spring are enjoyable seasons; albeit autum is heartening because it signals winter is approaching, whereas spring is depressing as it signals sux-mmer is coming.
We also have some trees in our street that turn beautiful red and orange tones during this season. Last week we drove through the biggest forrest / national parc area in the Netherlands, beautiful scenery with trees coloring.
I like fall, but please keep the rain showers. Winters are horrible, all day gray, we don't have winters with a couple of feet of snow. If that would happen the whole country would turn into 1 gridlock.

I just wished fall lasted as long as winter. In Newfoundland, winter takes up half the year.
