Obviously, only the bowl is meerschaum. Pressed? Unknown until someone possesses it and reports.

I had a nice gourd with a Meer bowl. Smoked fine but was a PITA to handle and took up a lot of space to store. Not worth the hassle for me.
The removable bowl and cooling chamber are both block meerschaum. The "gourd" is just stained.
Cooling Chamber is meerschaum? I've seen a few of these, and the cooling chamber was just the inside of that thin gourd. The only thing meerschaum was the bowl plate on top which has the smoking chamber built into it.
