Got two new, proper pipes, they arrived today, time to break them in.

Savinelli Aroma in a Peterson Derry (69)

I've no idea why it double posted one of the pics and set one as an attachment. Does it on its own. Not sure if that'll still show up after this edit.
I have a Derry 69. Great smoking pipe. I use for English blends. I personally do not loke bowl coatings and removed it from mine. Made all the difference in the world. Enjoy the pipes, they look great.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am a quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2013 Capstan Gold in a post-WWII Bertram 60 straight smooth dark brown squat bulldog with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Watching Mad Dog Russo.

Finishing my day of work with a bowl of BB No: 2 in this meerschaum 'cutty' that refuses to color. It has had several pounds of Plug, Twist and BB No: 2 put through it and nothing, not even a skid mark on the shank. The stem is amber and the pipe is a 110+ years old but it refuses to start turning brown. Anymore of this crap and it will find itself being sent on a one way trip to Uncle Weezell!
