Close to being half way through this bowl of year 2018 C&D Yorktown in a 1991 Ashton Brindle X straight brown sandblast dublin with a square shank and tapered square acrylic cumberland stem. Getting ready to go to work. Listening to the Dodgers-Mets game.
Now on to another bowl of D&R Athey in this James Upshall P Billiard. It's a nice, light fairly monotoned Virginia. TR says "An all Virginia tobacco. It has a complex 3 layers of flavors: an earthy plummy molasses layer, followed by a scotch/drambuie note, and finished with a light botanical topping." Not quite sure where they got that. I don't taste Scotch or Drambuie. As for the light botanical topping, it's not there either. Maybe the guy who wrote that tripped on the lawn and got some grass in his pipe.
Tonight’s smoke, GLP Penny Farthing in a Savinelli Octavia. Giants with the night off so I’m listening to some Tom Petty on the headphones.

Chatham Manor in a fully restored Peterson 9B, thanks to the great work of Mike Meyers at Walker Briarworks. He did a wonderful job of filling a crack in the bowl and restoring the pipe.

Close to finishing this bowl of Low Country Pipe & Cigar Natural Virginia & Burley in a 2020 straight black sandblasted Merchant Service “Bing” Standard with a nickel band and black vulcanite tapered stem. The rain finally showed up, and it's fierce! Daisy was on the deck, so I let her in. Dunno where the other feral cats are, but I couldn't let them in anyway because Suzy and Molly don't like other cats. Daisy stays out of their way when I do let her in, and doesn't cause trouble.
Some Autumn Evening I've had sitting around for about a year in a Brigham Voyageur straight Rhodesian. Thinking of making some other Autumn themed concoctions with Autumn Evening, Haunted Bookshop, and some other stuff.
Now smoking year 2018 Sutliff Dunhill Elizabethan Match in a 1982 smooth straight Dunhill Root Briar 31051 Dublin with a black vulcanite tapered stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

I have a Molina that's a copy of that Peterson shape. Is it a Dublin, a Calabash, a weird rounded Pear/Dublin hybrid? Only The Shadow knows.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of Watch City Simply VOriental in a straight smooth medium brown 1930s Wilshire 5 bulldog (Comoy’s second) made for John’s Pipe Shop in Los Angeles with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Still working.
