Lord of the Rings - Extended Version

I don’t know if this has been posted before, but I just discovered on HBO Max, the extended version of Lord of the Rings.

Fellowship of the Ring is almost 4 hours, which is just fine with me.

It’s amazing how much of the filming gets cut out. There’s a ton of cool extra stuff I never saw.

My dad took me to see each film on opening night. The books and films are very special to me. Hopefully they released the extended versions on Blu-ray as well.

They did back in 2011 or 2012. I've got the extended collection.

The extended versions are better (I can't watch one in one sitting though).

They have a bit more extra scenes that were not in the books, so some hardcore Tolkien fans may not like them. I personally like the movies too.
