Dave, not the greatest picture, all I can read is what looks like ...simon Pipes, and handmade. Need to see the beginning part of the makers mark.

simon, sinan...? There's got to be a capital letter somewhere.

It was poorly stamped or buffed off. That's the best I can do.

I blew up the pic and it looks like it says:

Sinon Pipes

and the word

Handmade under the key logo.
I'm not convinced it's a capital "s" and it could be "...sinon" or "smon" for all I can tell. "Handmade" for sure. Didn't find anything at Pipephil or Pipedia, scrolling through the listings of American makers while focusing on the last three letters.

Same here. I've been looking under all of the brand names and so far nothing.

And now that you mention it it does look like it could be "smon"

Under a glass, I can see the artifacts of maybe three letters before the "S" none of which are visible in the photo. Also, I will never admit that this pipe has belonged to me for about 15 years. I haven't smoked it in about 10, not that it didn't smoke well, but it was just sort of forgotten (and that 15 years ago I not only knew who made it, but bought it because of who made it.
