Wanted: Empty Metal Tobacco Tins (11/24/20)

Not sure where this should be posted, but does anyone have some empty metal tobacco tins, square or round, they'd be willing to part with? A friend of mine is wanting to make an art piece using tin lids. Not looking for collector pieces, just standard stuff. He's willing to cover shipping costs.

The trouble is few pipe smokers accumulate them, recycling or re-purposing as we go along. I hope you find a pack rat with that particular accumulation of tins.

Over the years, I've only kept like three empty tins: (1) Rattray's Exotic Passion, because it's a pretty; (2) GLP Renaissance, because there aren't anymore; and (3) Holly's Non Plus Ultra, because there's nothing better!

The basement bar at Delerium Tremens is completely covered in beer branded bar trays. That would be sweet to do with tobacco tins.

I have a few old whole tins that I have on shelves for decorations. I don't keep newer tins. Like Embers, I jar and toss as I open.

I don't have any, but I recently started keeping labels in a notebook.

It would be cool to see the final art piece though! Keep it in mind!
