I doubt it. My wife's favorite so far is Boswell Cupcake. But, as usual, full of goo, no nicotine, etc.

If you go with grasmere (or any strong lakeland) dedicate a cob to it first, because it will ghost like a mother.

With any Lakeland aromatic, designate a pipe, probably a cob until you assess your taste for it. The rose geranium flavor is compared to grandma's bathmat by some, but others acquire the taste almost immediately. Grasmere is among the most beautiful lakes in the Lake District, site of one of the happiest days of my life, so I wish I were tempted by that flavoring and room note. I'm not. The Lake District is exquisite, and lives up to that snazzy word.

Flavored Gawith tobaccos are heavily scented, but they are also made with stout tobaccos, so the room note is more “smoke” than it is “scent.” I don’t think the room note will be pleasant to someone who doesn’t like a lot of tobacco smoke scent.

I love Grasmere. It's my favorite GH. It's also the most intense rose petal fragrance I've ever tasted. I enjoyed the room note but the flavor is so strong I couldn't tell a difference in the room note. My girlfriend likes it. She said it smells like floral incense. As with all Lakelands, you really have to try for yourself. Even fans of the genre tend to disagree on the flavors they pick up and the strength of flavor from blend to blend. If you wanna try it, don't let anyone talk you out of it! But if you hate the scent of roses? it probably won't be your favorite.

Definately don't assume you'll like it and order too much. But a couple of ozs might give you an idea. I did this and ended up throwing even the rest of that much away. YMMV
Who knows, maybe you are a Lakeland smoker.

The closest I've gotten so far is Ennerdale, which was weird but good. I like Dark Plug and Dark Flake and the Ropes but there isn't much floral about them. They must come from the Rugby side of the factory.

I don't hate the sent of roses. One of my favorite aros is Caminetto Como which is very floral but it doesn't taste it. I'm not a big, hay like Virginia guy.

Grasmere is a wonderful flake tobacco and thats from someone who doesn't really smoke a lot of flakes unless they are Lakeland heavy. I find it burns evenly and doesn't cause undue distress to people down wind and unlike some of the rope or plug offerings which can really leave a presence this has a reasonable room note. You have to really like Rose Geranium if you intend to be a regular visitor to Grannies Bath Mat world.

I think I will try it. Who knows, even if I don't like it fresh, I may like it in 10. Years when it looks like decaying peat moss.I

Now I wish I had a peat moss fire going.

My Grasmere sat in a cookie jar at a B&M for who knows how long so it had some age on it. It wasn't crispy dry though, but it also wasn't typical gawith wet. I don't really taste any hay. It's stout gawith African VAs and burleys, although I don't really taste the tobacco under the topping. Everyone is different, but I feel it has a nearly euphoric nicotine buzz to it. Not crazy strong, but stronger than average.

Seems to me they can have a cigar-like quality to the smoke when it peaks through the topping.

for room note cherry cream flake is pretty damn good too.
