If you clench, you are going to love the way they hang. Plip might take getting used to, but is a plus I think.

I was actualy looking for a good pipe for clenching,, and the p-lip was what drew me to this pipe

Congrats,One of the most dependable pipe model I know, over the years I have had these and other alike Petersons few, today I'm using my Savinelli Punto Oro half bent bulldog 623 which has a tad smaller chamber, but candidly saying, those few Peterson I had did have better draw despite they mid-price range pipes,go figure,

I love my savinelli pipes I have quite a few, I also have a Rossi which is a sister company to savinelli that has been my every day carry pipe since I got it . I have petersons and they are good pipes I'm excited for this one, and it will probably be my every day carry when I get it.

@thebigragu ,for those purposes, these 80S/999 models suit very well, though today I lean more toward straight pipes, less gurgling issues,you see,

I usually use straight pipes I have a savinelli Bung favorite I love it but it's just a little to long to fit in my pocket. I dont usualy get gurgleing from my pipes when I smoke maybe because I smoke pretty slow.
