Happy 4th of July, Brian,
I am surprised you did not get into straight shank vs curved shank. Shank length is a matter of personal preference.
A very nice rendition of America the Beautiful.
The interview will Bill Hirsch was quite interesting. A different perspective, indeed.
In 1776, what bowl did Yankee Doodle break? A Clay pipe?
Jimmie Hendrix - Woodstock perhaps? I didn't realize Kevin was that old to remember.
The good thing about pipe smokers is "What ever floats your boat - works!"
I totally agree with your rant.

Another top notch show! I really enjoyed the interview with Bill Hirsch.
The rant is right on. Just because you have a strong conviction about something doesn't make you right. Amongst pipe smokers tolerance is the rule. Whether you smoke cobs or Bangs we are all brothers of the leaf.
