The Pipes Magazine Radio Show – Episode 240

Kevin Godbee
Thank you for joining us for The Pipes Magazine Radio Show—the only radio talk show for pipe smokers and collectors. We broadcast weekly, every Tuesday at 8 pm eastern USA time and are available on nearly all podcast sites and apps. Listen on your computer, tablet, phone and even in the car! Our Featured Interview tonight is with pipe maker Nathan Armentrout. Nathan has been making pipes since 2009, about twenty-five a year, mostly in the Danish freehand style. In the Pipe Parts segment, Brian will give us the rundown of all of the events coming up as part of the Chicago pipe show, and how he plans for the five days there. We will have an update on the JDRF auction where you can bid on pipes and tobaccos while helping a good cause for his daughter. Check the links below. Sit back, relax with your pipe, and enjoy The Pipes Magazine Radio Show!

Tonight’s show is sponsored by SmokingPipes.com, Cornell & Diehl, and Savinelli Pipes and Tobaccos. Please give them some consideration when making your next pipe or tobacco purchase.

We hope you enjoy our 1-hour show produced just for you—the pipe smoker and collector. The following link will launch a pop-up player. Alternatively, you can download the show in iTunes and other podcast sites and apps after the initial broadcast is complete here.

Good show. The pipe parts segment was a good explanation of what you want to take to a pipe show. It is amazing that I always forget something when I go there. Probably no surprise that I forget something when I go other places.
I would have sworn that Nathan was on your show before. Oh well. He was a good guest and quite enjoyable. I have a beard but have to keep mine trimmed up as it grows wild and bushy when I don't. Who is the girl (woman?) in the picture with him?
The only rights the PC crowd believes in is their own.
