  • Great show. Skip is a wonderful pipeman and shop owner. I have been to The Briary and even after buying a pipe, he almost sold me another. I suddenly realized I spent all the money I had. He is that good.
Music choice was very good and seasonal.

  • Love the cow! A really fun conversation with Skip. Nice tune.
And, I second your “rave” comments. Good show, Thanks.

  • Skip! Great show.
I can’t believe you got Skip to use technology enough to record his voice. He is so old fashioned he still uses wax tubes to listen to music, oil lamps to read by at night, and when he cranks his car, he literally gets out and cranks it, ha ha. It was great to hear his story. He is a great friend and a great businessman. If you’ve never been to The Briary, you should, in all my travels I’ve never seen another pipe shop like it. Skip is very friendly, personable guy. It’s one of those places where everyone knows your name… and, they’re always glad you came.

  • The cow was killer! What a great doodad.
Of course, I am thinking who the hell is Skip Elliott. I had heard of the Briary just never put his name to it. Immensely jealous of his head of hair.
Good of you to mention all the people who do volunteer work in your rave.

  • Another great show Brian. Pooping Christmas cow, stock car racing, guns, and smoking. For a Californian, you are developing into a class A southern redneck ! Enjoyed the interview with my friend Skip. He,his wife, Joe and Aubry all always helpful. The Briary is a class A pipe and tobacco shop everyone should visit if in the area.Have a Merry Christmas.
