Kevin Godbee
Thank you for joining us for The Pipes Magazine Radio Show—the only radio talk show for pipe smokers and collectors. We broadcast weekly, every Tuesday at 8 pm eastern USA time and are available on nearly all podcast sites and apps. Listen on your computer, tablet, phone and even in the car! Our Featured Interview tonight is with pipe maker Micah Redmond. Micah is originally from Jacksonville, FL and has been making pipes since 2009. He apprenticed under Premal Chheda, and last year moved to Nashville to join the BriarWorks team. In the "Pipe Parts" segment, Brian will report on an article that was posted and discussed in the forums on evidence of 12,000 year-old tobacco seeds.  Sit back, relax with your pipe, and enjoy The Pipes Magazine Radio Show!

Tonight’s show is sponsored by Sutliff-Tobacco.com, SmokingPipes.com, CupOJoes.com Missouri Meerschaum, 4noggins.com, Cornell & Diehl, and Savinelli Pipes and Tobaccos. Please give them some consideration when making your next pipe or tobacco purchase.

  • I liked pipe parts with its reading of the archaelogical finding of tobacco seed at a 12,000 year old site. Doesn’t answer the question of which came first the tobacco or the pipe.
I remember meeting Micah at Premal’s in 2014. He was a little on the quiet side but that may have been a function of how loud the the other people were. I hope the move to BriarWorks works out for him.
I can’t remember the music so it wasn’t memorable.
