Pipes Magazine Radio Show Episode 649

Welcome to The Pipes Magazine Radio Show Episode 649. Our featured guest tonight is Jon David Cole. JD is the Owner/Tobacconist at The Country Squire in Jackson, MS, and the accompanying online store. We’ll have JD and Brian talking about sales trends for pipes and tobacco at the shop, and other news. This will be an extended conversation, so we will skip the usual Pipe Parts opening segment.

    • I really enjoy your visits with Jon David. The discussions about dealing with the STG mergers and how tobacco blends will need reengineering, and about ISPD, JD’s cellar, and cellaring in general, were quite interesting and very entertaining.
Galen’s choice of Elmore James’ “The Sky is Crying” was much appreciated. It’s a Blues masterpiece and a part of my own collection. All who love music should be aware of this performance.
Just like you, that’s exactly what I’m going to do on IPSD. It’s a great and meaningful way to celebrate our community and to remember those pipe pals we’ve lost.
Thanks for this always entertaining show.
