  • Adam’s conversation with you, in-studio, was way fun, and his tale of becoming a pipe smoker was very entertaining. His insights, as a younger member of the community, with respect to pipe shapes, tobacco, and in interacting with “older” pipe smokers was quite enlightening. His good sense of humor and warmth came through nicely in this face-to-face episode.
Dom Flemons’ new song was wonderful. His take on the Piedmont blues style is just so lyrical. Love it.
Renfield’s comments about moldy tobacco are an important alert to us all.
Good rant. Pro or con, no one deserves to be ignored or “cancelled.”
Thanks for yet another always entertaining show.

  • I enjoyed this show very much. It had kind of a je ne sais quoi charm to it. Enjoyed your review of Deception Pass. I gave it a 3 out 5 rating from me. Okay but not great.
Adam’s interview was little odd in that he was right there with you. Clearly you were both enjoying it. He comments with you brings home that pipe smoking is changing. And I know who is going to win. Not us and it isn’t a bad thing. It’s just the way the world operates. Young guys takeover and the old guys’ head to the Big Smoking Lounge in the Sky. As an aside I can’t believe he gets to wear his hair like a hippie. When I was in the Big Green Machine it was much different. Alas. Get off my lawn!!
Dom Flemons song, as always, was quite enjoyable.
There is only ONE thing to do when you encounter mold and that is to throw the entire container in the trash. No exceptions.
