  • I can see why Kevin’s YouTube videos are so popular, he’s very personable and pleasant. And, like some of the other “novice” guests, he’s so very far ahead in his enjoyment of the pipe. I’m not a fan of YTPC videos, I find them deathly boring. However, Kevin’s are quite enjoyable, as are those by Bradley.
I am so glad you liked the 2Cellos piece. Their videos are such fun to watch, entertaining both as music and as “theater.”
    Another spot-on rant.
    Thanks.

  • Another enjoyable show.
Sun Bear is kind of a gimmick tobacco to me. Seems like it is all hype with limited production so that it will sellout. Then next year we go through the same drill again. Nope, not for me.
Kevin was an enjoyable guest but is not as for along the pipe path as your other guests were. I thought his “Aha” pipe moment was a rather well thought out answer to the relight problem that beginning smokers have: When your pipe goes out just relight it and don’t worry about it. He doesn’t have pretentious tastes. He is happy with 18 pipes. And he dreams of owning an artisan Gandalf pipe some day. Not exactly shooting for the moon and he seems very comfortable with his choices.
Has Dino ever disliked a single piece of music you have played? It seems like his tastes are so varied that he likes everything. Anyway the first third of the music was enjoyable, the last third was enjoyable, and middle third sounded like two cats with the tails caught in a wall socket.
