Welcome to The Pipes Magazine Radio Show Episode 404! Our featured interview tonight is with Linwood Hines. Linwood has been in the business and the hobby for years and is one of the founding members of the Conclave of Richmond Pipe Smokers (CORPS). This show is our fifth in a series of “Seven Questions for Seven Experts”. Over the course of seven weeks, we will ask seven prominent pipe collectors the same seven pipe related questions, and see how their answers compare. At the top of the show, for our pipe parts segment, Brian will have a Father’s Day Gift Buying Guide. Sit back, relax with your pipe, and enjoy The Pipes Magazine Radio Show!

• That was just plain fun! Linwood is an absolute hoot. His was a wonderfully personal and wry twist on the “7 Questions.”
I enjoyed the Newsboys’ tune, even without Jody Davis. And, it goes to your closing comments nicely, that a nice Jewish boy like you can thoroughly enjoy the music of a Contemporary Christian band, with no hesitation.
Thanks for another entertaining show.

• A great Father’s Day gift would be a membership to NASPC (North American Society of Pipe Collectors) that gets you a subscription to The Pipe Collector, the best, and almost only, magazine devoted to the pipe smoker.

• Well, hmmm. I guess you have to know this guy to appreciate him, but in an interview he comes off as a rather odd duck. An politically he might be to the right of Attila the Hun. His take on the various questions was rather odd and seemed like he was doing his own take on a radio show. How old is this guy and how is he normally??
