It's an interesting article.
The program that made it happen received the home as a donation from Bank of America. I have a pretty low opinion of BofA after the past few years, and I'm glad they're doing something worthy of redemption.
It actually brings up an even better idea, if anyone else is catching my drift.

Good for BoA to help out, but I still wouldn't go back to them. Like Dave said, +1000 to the Vet!

Heh, yeah, it's a funny thing. I have a savings account with BofA, with $1.00 in it. Had it for years and years.
Who else thinks that irishsmoker deserves to be looked at by this program?

That is great!! It's good to know that there are some folks out there helping these guys out! They deserve more than they get in most cases.

Good for the Vet but I will never trust BA again. Got screwed by them back in the 70's with My savings when I served in the Marine corps.
