I bought an Irwin Ries Co supreme bulldog off the Bay a # of years ago. It had great birdseye which unfortunately I can no longer see due to the darkening of the pipe over the years. Who made IRC pipes back in the day? thanks, Earl

I think different makers, I have one that is without a doubt a savinelli. I also knew that Benton made some for them. The list could be endless for as old as they are.

Mostly Savinelli, but also Hilson. Peterson made pipes for them, but I'm not sure if those weren't marked Peterson rather than IRC. I have an old catalogue and I can check. Does your pipe have a shape number? A pic would help, too.

Stanwell made IRC pipes back in the 1970s. In fact, my first ever pipe was an IRC "Danish Pride" by Stanwell. Had it for the first 20 or so years of my pipe smoking life. Left it in a restaurant about 20 years ago. I still miss that pipe.

No shape #, just says supreme. But it does say made in France. So, guess that would narrow it down a might- BC, Chacom, Genod?
