Ever since I read about Dunhill's Ye Olde Signe in 2008 or so, I've wanted to try it. By all accounts, this is one of the finest Virginia blends ever made, up there with Benson & Hedges Original Virginia Flake and not much else.
Since I don't have the scratch to lay out for the couple tins a year that still come up for sale, I will settle for a full, detailed report, with pictures!

That Pease article is the one. Only confirmed by reading around the old alt.smoking.pipes forums, too.
$75 for that ebay tin last year was a steal.

I'm going to bump this. Someone bought another one today. I wish I had the scratch for it, but will settle for a detailed report of what I'm missing out on.
I'll trade a sample of G Smith & Sons Old London 100% Virginia for a sample of Ye Olde Signe, if anyone happens to have any open.
