Just stealing from another thread, but it could be interesting to see what was your first Peterson.
Mine was a this 106 DeLuxe I bought as an Estate. This is still my "going-for-a-walk-with-my-dogs-pipe":

Mine was a "Second" 314.

Purchased at a very good tobacconist's in Shaftsbury. I believe I paid no more than £5.

My wife bought me my first Peterson, by suggestion of the tobacconists. It was, and still is, a Peterson Standard 314 smooth finish. Still smokes like a dream. Take care all.

Mine was a Sherlock Homes "Baskerville"
Showed it off for two days,and on the third day someone did a break and enter,only to take that pipe.
I got over it quick because I blamed myself for not being smarter,but I sure wish I had it.

Ok, here's my three Pete's.

The top one is a Peterson System Ebony #302 that I got back in 1998 at a no longer existing B&M in Ft. Lauderdale.
The middle one is a Peterson Shannon Oom Paul that I got in 2009 at a B&M in Clearwater.
And the last one is a Peterson Kapet Pipe #6 that I got at last year's (2009) Richmond show.
