Pipewise I got a Savinelli Caramella 920 from my dad which I had the first break in smoke this morning. Also got Peterson's Holiday Season 2011 blend and MacBaren's 7 Seas Red Blend from the fiance. Other than that I got NHL12 the videogame which I've been longing for and some sweaters.

Couple of PS3 games and The Oxford Beer Companion

I got a tobacco jar from my parents and a crappy little dirt cheap, and tiny, meerschaum pipe to go with it. Smoked it today. It smokes okay, but the stem already has a hairline crack in it. I think it will be a decoration only pipe.

I also got a Mr. Brog pipe, that army model with the wind cap, from my wife. Just enjoyed a bowl of Lagonda in it. It smokes great!

I got a ham , A ounce of Solani Festival from Paul the pipe ninja , Asparagas pickles from the neighbor and homemade candy and cookies .A four day weekend . A forty dollar Starbucks card from my daughters boyfriend [still going to castrate him if he touches her ].The wife and I do not exchange gifts . Instead we take stock in what we have and celebrate the true meaning of Christmas .

I got a Sony wire less head set for the PS3. An unusual inheritance check from my grand father who passed over 30 years ago. Two grand, not enough to retire on but it is going into our home expansion fund. My wife gets me a new fishing license every year. My 5 year old son picked out some rubber worms (bass lures) he actually picked some good ones. He made his mommy take him to the fishing store to shop for me! That made it even better, I love that little dude

Also a Kahuna big stick. Goes with a long board I picked up a few years back. I went out and played with it for a bit and it will be a good work out. This is a link to what it is.

Hope you all had a great Christmas also!

I got a sweet little Roma Churchwarden Pipe, the first Churchwarden I have ever owned, from my parents and it is an amazing smoker. I also got a VERY nice cigar humidor from my folks as well, and two really premium cigars. From the girlfriend, got Dead Rising 2 for the Xbox 360. From my sister and brother in law, got a $50 dinner card to Outback Steakhouse, and they got me a nice beginners calligraphy set. My brother gave me cash as he does every year.

I asked for a Falcon "pipe of the year" with ebony finish and an extra bowl for it.

It is an amazing smoker. Now I know why so many like them.

    I also got an iPod.

Well, Helga and I spent all of our Christmas money on our train trip from Missouri to L.A. this month. (Christmas, both birthdays, New Years, Valentines, and 4th of July.)

We had agreed that that was it for Christmas but we both cheated. I found A really neat little pipe tool/ bottle opener under the tree and somehow a small box of handmade candy truffles for Helga appeared.

I am out on the rig, so I havent seen what Santa left at the house for me yet. Visited the kids and grandkids in Smyrna, GA, Midland, Marble Falls, and Houston before I came out to work, so I have a few new toys.
A Klingon Batleth sword, a bottle of Irish Cream, a set of LOTR pez dispensers, four 100 year commemorative bottles of Coca Cola, a used copy of Fallout 3 for computer, and a Craftsman Dog Bone wrench.
Out here on the rig I won a set of 7x35mm binoculars for our Christmas giveaway. Everybody gets to pick from a jar, and the gifts are supplied by BP.
I know that I have a Peterson Plato Freehand on the way to the house. (Better half won big at the casino).
Other than that, my family will be getting together Jan 2 for Dads Christmas, and I get to see if Santa brought anything from my wish list this year. Last year he brought me A Lump of Coal (stout beer).

Since it seems pictures aren't a requirement in this one, ill join in. On the pipes side of things, I got a Corona Old Boy lighter and a Peterson Hopkins from their 4-pipe Sherlock Holmes set. Cupojoes had the sets opened and selling the individual pipes. Absolutely love the strange "bent poker" whatever you wanna call it. Got it in the rusticated version.

Other than pipe related things, a mish-mash of gift cards, a little cash and other randoms. Im not big on Christmas. Id have been just fine with the new pipe only

Received a couple Missouri Meerschaum Minis and a Dr. Grabow Grand Duke from my Sister, a little cash, a handful of some really tasty handmade local cigars, a really cool torch lighter and a bottle of my new favorite cologne from my parents. Not bad for insisting they not get me anything

The wife was incredibly generous this year (well, she got a new truck a few weeks back...) Which, come to think of it is a hell of an expensive way to get a few pipes from her!
I kicked in half on this Tinsky bent apple. I bought in in September, but she whisked it away until Christmas. I also received a Cavicchi bent billiard and the Peterson Zippo set.(Rock Donegal billiard). The Pete was a big surprise that she picked out and she was wise enough to grab a fishtail (maybe they only come that way?). My other two Petes were p-lips, which I did not like and sold. This billiard smokes real nice!

Tin of Peterson's Luxury Blend, a pipe rack and a Roku. Kinda tight this year so I had to limit it. But, I have a birthday coming up the end of January so I may get lucky then.

I got a Savinelli Sherwood Rock 620, eight ounces of Penzance (which I've decided isn't my favorite ... not bad either, but not my favorite), and a triple pack of disposable 3-jet hookah lighters.

A selection of Wychwood microbrews, Blackhawk Stout, Murphy's Irish Stout ... amongst the usual socks and underwear gifts.

    I did alright

That tactical .22 is pretty bad ass looking, is it semi-auto? It looks like it has a very tiny bolt on it, but it's hard to see from the picture.

And the Cavicchi bent billiard ... very nice.

That is a Pneumatic air rifle. The tube under the barrel holds compressed air. That one shoots a .22 caliber pellet. These things can be very accurate, and are great squirrel and rabbit hunting air rifles.

A Mr. Brog pear wood # 41, a Sport pipe which is a basket pipe picked out by my little girls, 2 racks, a jar of 1Q and 3 plugs of Plum Pudding, Black, Red, Dark Twist, pipe tool, filters for my cobs and an antique pipe rest given to me by my mother in law. She had tears in her eyes when I opened it as she recalled memories of her grandfather Harvey Parsley using it as he sat in the kitchen smoking his pipe. How cool!

A better look at the pipe rest

Here's some more... sorry, they're kind of big, but you can see a lot of detail. This first one is clearly for tobacco. The second pipe
I'll post separately. I don't think it's necessarily for smoking tobacco... this one has a threaded bit, which is stripped out. I may look
Into getting it fixed, if it's not too expensive. I don't plan on smoking it though.

Here's the second one. As you can see the bowl is quite small, and removable, which leads me to believe that it may be for something
Other than tobacco. What do you guys think?

I did rather well for pipes this Christmas, scoring a total of three! I go a Northern Briars Dublin, totally hand made and complete with a very nice silver band. I also got a Peterson System (shape 31) the only straight pipe in their range of system pipes and my first experience with the "P-Lip". Finally I got a "Smokewell" chimney. It is the brand name given to the seconds produced by Blakemar pipes. Add these to the Dunhill Second from Parker I got a couple of days before Christmas and I did very well indeed

I know what I need, smoke, I can't recall the last time I tasted it....Gandalf in the mines of Moria.

"we shall have to share pipes, as good friends must at a pinch'....'I keep a treasure or two near my skin, as precious as rings to me. Here's one: my old wooden pipe. And here's another an unused one...He held up a small pipe with a wide flattened bowl, and handed it to Gimli. 'Does that settle the score between us', said Merry. 'Most noble hobbit, it leaves me deep in your debt."

Someone from this forum sent me a gift! I havn't received it yet and I don't know what it is. I'm so excited! The wife and I didn't do presents for us, just the kids this yr due to finances so it is a super thoughtful gesture that this member would think to do something so nice for me!
I will post when my care package arrives!

Weel it took my about a week and a half but I finally got around to taking some photos of the stuff I got on Christmas. Here we go.

First up is a Pipe stand/humidor I got from the wife. It's my first pipe stand for my 8 pipes; 4 briar 4 cobs.

The tobacco in it is a blend called "G-Money" I got 4 oz of this blend that a friend of mine used to smoke in his pipe back in the day. It didn't have a name so he named it after the nick-name they call me by. Aparently I can stroll on down to my local Humidor and ask for a few ounces of "G-Money" It's 2 parts Gentlemen Jack, 1 part vanilla custard, and 1 part of some cherry blend. Quite tasty actually.

Here's a close up of some of the pipes with the new camera I got for the wife... It's really my camera but don't tell her that.

The same gentleman that gave me the "G-Money" tobacco also gave me his cigar humidor because he doesn't smoke but a few times a year because of his wife. It's really nice and He would not let me leave the house without it. He literally took it from his closet and gave it to me after we were done visiting on Christmas day.

And to complete the old man within me I got a marble Dominoe set!

I saw this in the store and I had to have it... So I made the wife get it and wrap it.

I also got a pretty neat Zelda game. As soon as I beat this one I will be getting the one that JUST came out for the Wii. The reviews are fantastic. The anime in the picture, "5 Centimeters Per Second", is a little strange. Not really what I like. The reviews RAVED, but I will say that the first half so far is crap. I had to stop it because I couldn't watch the classic boy loves girl story die before my very eyes.

I don't know what you guys do with the branches that you have to trim to get the dang tree to fit into the stand but... I threw mine onto the chair couch thing for my cats to sleep on. Makes them feel like they're outdoors.

    The End.
