I gave myself a shot trying to contact Anthony who is a Nørding connoisseur but I see he went offline. The pull from this beautiful high grade paneled Egg was too much so it’s been added to the fold, once it finds its way from Australia that is.

Just came back. Your message didn't come through, though. All I got was a picture of an envelope, haha. I've been following that Nording for a while, Fish, but I'm glad you were able to snag it I know it's going to someone who will appreciate it. It truly is a lovely Nording. Enjoy the heck out of it!

Omigod, banjo, you're killin' me. Killer stem on it; when it comes to off-the-wall pipes you've got me dead to rights any day. GORGEOUS!

Etsy is a great place to find rare and unusual pipes. Great price on that Nording as well.

It isn’t just pipes either Al, I’ve had the same thing happen over the years with vintage bamboo fly rods, fly reels, banjos, archery equipment, knives and firearms.

The shaping, the stem work, the grain and the finish, sort of a grand finale Nording. He makes excellent briars at every price point. I have one of his little eco-pipes, an Eriksen, and it is the perfect car or pocket pipe, nothing like this, but great of its type. I also have a signature freehand and a zebra hunting pipe.

Banjo, Foggy and Peck have the most elaborate private collections on here. Atleast I like to think so.

    Cheers,
    Chris

Albert Einstein was once quoted as saying, “I believe that pipe smoking contributes to a somewhat calm and objective judgment in all human affairs.” One of the reasons behind this statement is that pipe smoking is meant to be a slow leisurely activity. It takes patience to smoke a pipe. Unlike cigarettes and cigars, there is a certain amount of technique to smoking a pipe. Where cigars and cigarettes can just be picked up, lit and puffed on, pipes require the development of a technique in order to get the best smoking experience.

And the Bard of Barling. Very HQ.

John, weez, I have 0 problem concurring there. I'm over the moon about a double handful of mine that I consider singular, but those guys are at an entirely different level, by a couple of orders of magnitude at the least. Nothing I've got even comes close.
