Valued Customer,
In order to comply with the 2010 Federal law known as the PACT ACT, we are now collecting Texas OTP (Other Tobacco Products) tax in accordance with Texas tax levels. The new licenses we have obtained to comply with the PACT ACT require that we collect this OTP tax.
This means that the cost of your orders will rise by the amount of tax particular to the items in your order. To further assist you in understanding what that means for your orders, our Customer Service staff is available during regular business hours to answer any questions and to provide you the new cost of your order. You are welcome to call us at (800) 706-2480, Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm.
We are emailing to make sure you, our valued customer, fully understand the recent changes that have taken place. We realize that this change will be a burden on you financially, so in order to lessen that burden, we are offering free UPS Ground shipping from now through the end of September. We ask for your understanding in this matter and hope to continue to have your business. Despite these changes, we will continue to stock the best selection of tobacco products and accessories to satisfy your needs.
Sincerely,
LBSS Management

Yep, sucks is a good word for it. Sucks more cash right outta your wallet. But feel good about it, it will go to pay for wonderful things like food stamps and studies into the environmental effect of sheep farts.

The PACT Act was Prevent All Cigarette Trafficking. WTF does this have to do with pipe tobacco? Is Lil' Brown in TX? *edit* Nevermind, I just went to their site. Guess Lil' Brown isn't gonna be as cheap for you anymore. Sounds lame to me.
