Here is a pipe I picked up on eBay. Now I realize most guys are not going to like this thing, but I'm drawn to pipes a little out of the ordinary, especially if the price is right. This is why I win most of the auctions I bid on. 
It's marked "Contempo" and "Italy" on the bottom. From what I can tell, Contempo was a short lived men's fashion concern of some type in the 1970's. I couldn't find out what manufacture in Italy actually made the pipe. Contempo now makes pipes that are all what could be considered "paraphernalia" now, if that is still the same company.
I didn't need to do a whole lot of work on this, just cleaning, polishing and sanitizing. I just burned some FMOTB in it and it was a superb smoking experience. There was a kind of strange "lavender" ghost flavor coming through towards the end of the smoke, but I think it will wear off soon since it appears the pipe was only smoked a few times. If nothing else it will make a good shop pipe.
