My Goblin arrived today and I got pictures of my new Morta Fugu from Chris. The Goblin is so light in hand and the detail is just stunning. Trever hit it out of the park with this one. Chris delivered on the blow-fish which happens to be my first Morta. I am not a clencher so I wanted something a bit more substantial and not as sculptural as some of the crazier blow-fish. He definitely delivered and I can't wait to smoke it. The Goblin will be getting its first bowl of Mississippi River this afternoon.

Are you sure both of these weren't made by Criss Angel? Because they just freaked my mind.
Seriously, though, congrats! The Goblin is my favorite. Love how he made a comfy spot for your finger.

Thanks folks! Working with Chris Askwith has been outstanding. He is friendly, communicative and eager to produce. His turn around time leaves my head spinning. If you have any inclination towards getting a commissioned pipe, I would highly recommend him. I turn to him for some non traditional pipes but his classics are top notch as well from what I have seen. Trever is known for his Goblins and Halloween pipes but far from resting on his laurels, he really owns the style. If you look at the side shots you can see the little pins and needles that add such texture to the plateau. I could spend hours lust looking at this one... but it's about time to light it up.

Big time envy going on here Daimyo. Those are both just awesome. An Askwith Morta is definitely in the cards for me.

That's an amazing haul. Hell just getting a goblin before anybody else is amazing. And it complements the morta so cooly. Congrats

Shameless bump to say that the Goblin handled it's first bowl with aplomb. Smoked a nice long bowl of Mississippi River and it was near perfect. There was the slight hint of uncaked briar here and there but otherwise, exquisite. I'm not surprised though as i have yet to get a LB that smoked any other way.

Beautiful pipes. Very different and as you said non traditional. I love the change of pace in pipe porn. Great acquisitions!
Is that a horn stem on the Talbert?

Yes, this makes my third horn stemmed LB. I actually love the slightly thicker profile of the buttons on these and they go really well with the Goblin aesthetic.

I missed this thread. They are lookers. No one will accuse you of having traditional tastes. I bet the all smoke like champs though.

Epic pipes. I love the two stem option as well. Chris has really been represented well here in the past week. My Hand-Finished should be here soon, I can't wait.

I fully agree on all counts.
And I dig the morta here.
And the Goblin is gobsmackingly incredible,

a real jawdropper!

Just too cool.
+ horn stem = extra awesome

I missed this when it was first posted. Glad you are enjoying the pipe! Usually I try to check back in with buyers after they've had a new pipe for a month or so, to see how it's doing, but holy frijoles, this has been a busy summer & autumn...
