An impressive collection. Love those thick walled bowls and great blast finishes. My only suggestion: scour out those

bowls with a tissue or paper towel after you scoop out the ash after each smoke. This will keep the carbon a nice even

layer and keep you from ever having to ream your pipes, to keep them for the duration. Great group of pipes. You

never need another -- ho-ho.

Great collection! I'm happy to see pipes well cared for by their owner. You certainly have some real gems.
Thanks however these bear claws of mine already broke two of my pipes lol I enjoy caring for them but sometimes i feel like a giant trying to play a small violin when im polishing these things haha.

Smart lookin' collection there, pal. My favourites, at the moment, are the Stanwell Cutty and the Caminetto Dublin.

Great pipe collection smokeybear.
Looks like the breakage occurred while trying to twist/loosen the stem off or on the pipes? If so, have you tried lubricating the tenons with graphite (aka #2 pencil) before twisting them into the shanks?
My Brigham pipe is an EXTREMELY tight fit, after drawing the graphite on the tenon with a #2 pencil, it's still tight, but it's also much smoother and much less friction when twisting on and off.

Very nice collection. Thanks for sharing. I hope the pipes you sent for repairs arrive soon and are packed properly. An order in another thread did not fare so well on shipment.

Very nice pipes sir, I hope the Nording comes home to you well repaired. I have large hands as well and get a little nervous with the pencil shank pipes I have as they are delicate and elegant but are not perfectly correct for a big handed person to be muckling on to them.

Those would be Caminetto's made by Luigi Radice and Pepino Ascorti before they branched out on to make pipes under their own names.

What are the ones with the 'mustache'-like stem emblem?
