Something I've noticed in my Brigham that i'm breaking in is that though it feels and looks like there is a cake building, there are unburnt looking pieces of tobacco that seem to be embedded on the wall of the bowl, I rubbed it with my pipe tool to try and scrape it off and it didn't, it seems caked on. Is this normal in building up a cake?

I always clean my bowl with the 'u' method after smoking but it still sticks. I'm relieved to learn its normal and not a big deal, I won't worry about it any longer.
Thanks,
D.L
