Correct me if I am wrong but it's my understanding Thompson pipes were made for Thompson Cigar Company? This is a huge and chunky freehand. Printing on side reads Thompson with Italy on bottom of shank. The stem on this one had the worse case of oxidation I've seen yet.
Off work a few days now and with all the rain we've been getting it's allowing me time to restore a few pipes I've had laying around.

So Thompson Cigars had pipes made in Italy, The Netherlands (Big Ben), and Turkey (the Meerschaum). Thanks for

the good photos. The freehand looks spiffy with its new stem. Looks a bit like my Joh's tomahawk freehand.
