i know i am one that has made the switch from cigs to pipes because of the outlandish taxes on butts i have seen several comments about the growth of the site and i belive there are many that are making the switch for the same reason. besides saving money on cigs i am also keeping Uncle Sam out of my pocket

For now. The Feds are trying to tax "pipe tobacco" used for RYO, which is an entirely different genre from what we smoke. I encourage everyone here to contact your reps about this to distinguish between the two.

Im noticed that my local B&M is selling "Smooth tobacco" for the RYO customers. I think its there way keeping true pipe tobacco from getting mixed up in all the tax law stuff.
