Taking a short hiatus from the cobs until I get back from my weekly ivIG infusion. I’m embarrassed to say I never wrote in my notes who made this Cracked Egg Meerschaum Bowl for the Kirsten Pipe. Here it is mounted on my Kirsten Model F and keeping it smokey with more Mac Baren Dark Twist Roll Cake.

I think it is difficult to execute "gag" pipes with a touch of wit that also look fully smokeable and righteously pipe-like, but this is an example. Subtle, very witty.

In the conundrum of pipe shape nomenclature, I think except for the color and simulated crack, this shape is a ball rather than an egg, or maybe it should be an egg rather than a ball.
