So I liked the look of this pipe and won it for cheap. I have been gravitating to blasts. I can find nothing about this pipe but for one 8 yr old comment saying that Tesch pipes are from an old German tobacconist and that they were made by Dunhill before WW2. The pipe is a little under six inches, has a 1 5/8" tall bowl and weighs 32 grams.
Any ideas? Or info?

I dont know anything about it ...but its a nice looking pipe . You got to love when you find the right pipe and you are the only one that really wants it!

Jay, I cannot find a 312 shape. I found shells with the number 31 but that is as much as I can find. I will say it looks identical to many of the early Dunhill shells but copying is the sincerest form of flattery. The oddest thing about this pipe is the slot. It is small longitudinally, compared to most pipes.
