Has anyone grabbed one of these pipes? They seem to be new, made in Denmark Stanwells with a bit of artisan work for the price of an unfinished pipe.

These are great buys, 7 mm and 9 mm filters. Don't let the filters stop you. You can smoke 'em without filters, and at least the 9 mm can take adaptors if you want a more focused airway, and a 6 mm adaptor might fit the 7 mm pipes if needed. Lots of shapes and finishes. Excellent heads up, donjgiles. PC has an inside track on Stanwell pipe in terms of prices.

When they arrived, Dan Chlebove and I were stunned by how nice these pipes were. I was ready to grab a couple, but I'll leave them for our customers.

I now have 2 of these... and I just ordered 2 more!

Unbelievably nice for 63 bucks. These may be the last of the made in Denmark Stanwell pipe. Stanwell and P&C have delivered us early Christmas presents this year. Photos to follow...

I just got my 62. The finish is quite uneven, but it has stunning grain, and the workmanship in unrivaled.
I have quite a few 62/63/64 style pipes, but this is my first new one, and probably the nicest one.

Those are some great looking pipes at a great price! I would love to buy one (or three) especially after Russ's endorsement of their quality. However, I am reining in my PAD and to a lesser extent my TAD for the next few months :?

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure those are made in Italy. That's why Danish Style is in quotes in the description. And listing the Italian stanwells as Danish is a common error.

Not that there's anything wrong with Italian stanwells, it's just some ppl will only smoke the old Danish made ones. Those would have to before 2007 because that's when Stanwell moved production to Italy.

Again if I'm wrong I apologize. Mb someone has more knowledge than me on this particular line..

Anyone that has one check the nomenclature and it should read: Danish design
