sure would help me.

i saw two doctors this week and never thought to say anything.

hope this isnt happening to any of you.

seems to be happening to me for the past month or so all too often.

i was a good speller, rarely needed to use a spell check.

now it seems that more and more will type a word, even four letter words, and stare blankley at them and not have a clue if i'm right or wrong. have to go to yahoo spell check sometimes for words i have used all my life.

to me this is getting rather serious. am afraid this could be the begining of alzehimers and at my age am so afraid of becomming a burden to my family.

had a neighbor with it. he had to be watched as though he were a toddler and at times would burst out with unproved anger.

well being only 44 i too have trouble with spelling and trying to remember what i did yesterday. For me 1 day is no different from the other before i know it a week has gone and i relate to something i did last week as being yesterday. Grouchy don't worry it's normal i'm sure. Sorry if i have caused any alarm.

I remember reading a study that shows tobacco users are rarely afflicted with Alzheimers.

I'm sure some others here are more familiar with the research.

Right on Abe . After years of taking notes on flow pads and the back of my hand . I cant spell or write a proper sentence any more . And whats more important is I dont care .There is only so much room in your head and I decided long ago that I did not want to be a english teacher or a walking Websters dictionary .

Old age is a real bitch. I had 3 years of Phonics in Catholic School, so I've always been fairly good at spelling. I now have bad knuckles from getting hit with the edge of a wooden ruler by those pesky Nuns. They would never get away with that crap in this day and age.

Hobie1dog, I also went to parochial school in the early 50's, and those nuns were insane!

I used to get whacked on the knuckles for not doing anything!
