I decided to walk into Sir Wilfred's in Lahaina, and noticed the store carries pipes with their name. The pipes look "ordinary". They have a carbonized coating inside the bowl, similar to most entry level Peterson's. "Sir Wilfred's Pipes" is pressed on the shank. I asked who makes them and they didn't know. I did not buy one; PAD is under control this week.
Made me wonder if anybody collects "shop" pipes, and where they come from....

It's possible I just talked to the wrong clerk. I'll ask again. They looked like Savinelli's to me.
