I'll start this one off with my Castania "312" Montana, a wonderful smoking pipe, and my one and only volcano.

All of those are beauts! Both scrumpy's and yours Duane. That last one goes well with the concept of volcano and lava. That color is beautiful

Most of the pipes on this thread are volcanos absolutely. The one in the opening post seems a kind of hybrid, but I see the vocano in it. I also see some billiard, poker, and maybe some stack ... the way shapes sometimes capture more than one shape. I don't have any thoroughbred volcanos, but I have always thought that the delightful Peterson brandy B11 sitters are partly or nearly volcano with that sharply conical bowl. I liked it so well, about five years ago I bought two, this ebony Killarney, for which I have provided a link, and a Shannon version of the same shape.

Dang! I said that last night to a woman who then tried to kick me.....
But all the above are way above average. Thanks for posting.

Once your photos are on a photo hosting site (such as Imgur.com; Photobucket; Dropbox, etc.), or on virtually any site, select the full image, then Control-click (Mac) or Right-click (Windows) on the image itself, then choose copy image location. Now paste that URL (the full web address) into the box that pops up under IMG in the compose reply window of the thread in which you want the photo to show. Bingo; now you've posted a photo directly!

Something that some carvers do on volcanos that I really like is the inclusion of plateau on the underside of the pipe. It is really striking on blasts when the bottom is left smooth.
