This was my first (and only completed pipe to date) a big thanks to the guys over at Smokers Haven (Premel, Bill, and Ben) for their help and advice. The Briar has a couple blemishes but it still smokes well.

Mighty fine pipe craft here. I'd be proud to have any of these on my rack. If I'd

made them, I'd be impossible to live with!

Great stem work Ryan! I enjoyed reading about your experience making that pipe BigVan and think it turned out great! Nice job Delkhouri I think you picked a nice shape for a first pipe and executed it very well!

Working on a lumberman/candian type thing but it has a ways to go.Made these two for friends at the DGCF. The second one is made of Mulberry which I've found makes a great pipe. These are the first I've handcut stems for.

delkhouri For that to be your first complete pipe that is very impressive my friend keep it up and post pics as you finish them.
Ejames those pipes are gorgeous buddy where the stem meets the shank is flawless and from what i hear thats one of the hardest parts of making a pipe besides drilling the holes straight.

This is kind of midway between a Brandy and a Billiard. I wish I could say I did that on purpose.

Thanks for the encouragement guys. You all do some mighty fine work. I carved the pipe from a pre-drilled kit that I bought from smokers haven. I chose to do a poker for simplicity sake and I wanted a sitter. I did buy another pre-drilled kit from them that I have yet to begin working on. For me its cheap enough to mess around with and I like doing it. Plus its drilled right so it smokes well. Maybe on the next pipe I will take pictures at various intervals to show progress.
