Ah, the all too noticeably contrived look of shame that the politicians have worked so tirelessly over the years to make look authentic. Fail.
Recently passed that one along to my parents, glad to see someone else found it too! One of the redeeming qualities of the internet.
It’s amazing how sex scandals are the only type of scandals that get any traction in the formerly free press...and the only scandals that the majority of the public are ever really interested in. They serve as an entertaining distraction, as well as to create the perception that nothing more seriously criminal is going on. When the occasional iceberg tip of a truly serious scandal surfaces, it generally re-submerges and is forgotten rather quickly. But, this is to be expected with a controlled media and an unconscious, narcissistic public.
