I cannot count how many times I came short during the years of buying a tin of three nuns at my local tobacconist. Two days ago, encouraged by Bradleys YouTube review I finally got me some. Man, what did I miss all these years! This stuff is just fantastic. Ok, I know that this isn't Tolkien's smoke anymore the perique having been replaced by dark fired Kentucky but I just love the actual Mac Baren version. It's perfectly balanced, has just the right amount of strength, does not bite at all and the the two components are complementing each other perfectly. The interplay between the grassy, fruity Va sweetness and the nutty, smoky character of the dark fired leaf are just delicious. I think this could become my all day smoke and my deserted island tobacco.
I asked in two threads what would be a good burley blend for an english smoker and what to take with me on my Thailand trip. Now I got my answer!
