How did my fellow Seattle-area residents make out in yesterday's storm?
Much to my amazement, here on Tiger Mountain we were spared the worst of the winds, a few branches fell, but, thank goodness, no 80-foot tall trees. Even the power and the internet stayed on. Seven-tenths of an inch of rain, some real possum-pounders, but the drains did their jobs well, so no major problems.
Now to wait for the next storm.........

"Even keel" - is that a brand of Bourbon? If not, it should be. That would definitely be something to have on hand when these storms hit! :)

Really awesome storm. This one was angry and we lost power for several hours. I loved every minute of it.

Horrible rain and wind, thunder and lightening, trees down in the Enumclaw area. I drained about 10,000 gallons of water out of the pool in 2 days. The Spanaway/Fredrickson area had a tornado touch down - quite a bit of damage.
