Yesterday evening I had the pleasure to attend the Lehigh Valley Pipe club, and to see some of the pipes made by local carver Juan Pablo Scotto. His son Juan (also an accomplished pipemaker) is a member of our club and brought some of his father's work along with him last night. I thought that you might enjoy seeing some of it:

That tall Rhodesian looks a little like my recent gift, a Kemperling made in Austria. These Scotto pipes are beautifully finished and tastefully designed. I really like the flashes of color in the bands.

Those are awesome! How do pipes that small smoke? Is a shank/stem that short enough to make a noticeable difference?

Wow, I love the size of those pipes! Fighting the P.A.D...
I wouldn't be able to smoke it for another 11 months though...
