That is one of the most popular shapes of any pipe mentioned on Forums. I like my author's a little trimmer and lighter weight, but I love the shape. I have a Luciano and a Peterson.

I had the Rossi Palermo 320 like the one pictured above and it smoked just fine. Stem is slightly different than a Sav (even though Sav owns Rossi) was the only difference I noticed between that and my Trevi 320. For the price Rossi's are a good value IMO.

I have that exact pipe, smokes fine, feels good in the hand. My only complaint is a couple small finish bubbles around the rim.

Rossi Vittorias were in stock in June--I saw four (bought one). $40 is a steal, IMHO.
I'd been looking for a while--just look on SP restock days, every other day. I put it into my web browsing rotation, and lo, there they were. Gone in a flash though . . .
