I just bought a tin of G.L. Pease Odyssey, dated 1/21/15. It has been maybe six months since I last had a tin of Odyssey, of which I have had maybe 5 total, over the last year and a half, but I remember it being more uniformly dark in appearance. Perhaps I am remembering incorrectly.
The new tin's contents look more like Night Cap or White Knight.
But the stranger thing to me is how dry the tobacco is. This is the driest tin of Pease tobacco I have ever had. None of the others even come close to how dry this is.
Regardless, I am enjoying the smoke, so there's that...
On a somewhat related note, we've been waiting for an Ask G.L. Pease update for a while now.
Perhaps his ideas have... dried up. :clap:
