I picked up these new estates this weekend:

1. Selected Straight Grain

2. Preben Holm Hand Cut 3

3. Comoy's Patina

4. Delacour with 1909 Hallmark.
My questions are...
1. The Selected Straight Grain has a white dot stem…I got it from an old friend who is the original owner and said he purchased it that way new? Anyone have any info on this Comoy second with a white dot stem?

2. The Delacour has hallmarks that date it at 1909. It is in fantastic shape. Info is minimal online…anyone have any knowledge or experience with this brand?

Beautiful Preben pipe. The Delacour was made in St, Claude and the company ceased operation in the 1950's. All in all a fine looking group. Enjoy them.

Nice pipes. #1 is a mystery (replacement stem?), the Preben Holm is classic Danish and the Delacour looks a lot like this one: http://www.thepiperack.com/blue-chip-estate-pipe-1915-delacour-brothers-silvermount-flamegrain-bent-billiard/ The Delacour is in amazing shape.

Great haul, Dixie!
That Preben Holm made tiny little beads of sweat pop out on my upper lip. Seven to eight years ago your PH3 would've cost you 500 plus on the Bay but those days are long gone. (Always thought it odd how some carvers and styles fall from grace.)
Still, it's stunning.

The pipephil.eu website is a real great place for info on pipe markings. This is their section on dot markings and there are even more on the left hand sidebar for specific looking dots.

Here is their information on Comoy, but I don't see anything about the Patina being a second of theirs. There are some similar looking Comoy seconds, though.

This is their 'D' section. They do have info on the Delacour, although very, very little.
Anyways, those are very good looking pipes! That Preben and Delacour shapes are so nice. Enjoy them!
