I bought this Dr. Plumb "Personality" in Hamilton, Bermuda in 1977. I know that Dr. Plumb was made by GBD as a counter to Dr. Graybow but I'm a bit confused by the band markings on the pipe. I tried to get close-up shots. One of the marks is K-P in a diamnod shape whie under that are some hamarks that I can't make out.

Any guesses as to what the markings mean?

Yes, it has a P lip. I thought it was a Peterson knock-off but the K-P has thrown me for a loop. I got it new in 1977 so I'm not sure what I have now.

That is interesting. I've never read that Dr. Plumb had any connection to Peterson, but that sure looks like a Peteron logo on that cap. If you hadn't purchased it new, I'd wonder if someone had put the band on. It also looks too good for a repair. That is a neat mystery Dr.!
